While working in the trucking industry can be “stressful and exhausting,” the salary is often excellent, especially if you work in long-haul routes or work with special loads. The industry offers countless types of cdl driver jobs, but the ones amongst the highest paid are: private fleet, ice road trucking, car haulers, team driving and owner operator. According to experts and court documents, “Washington’s zero-tolerance approach to weed has swept up drivers who lit up only when off-duty, as well as those who consumed hemp derivatives such as CBD oil that are advertised as non-psychoactive.” Read more…
ATTRACT TRUCKERS WITH SAFER JOBS AND BETTER WAGES
Though many trucking companies lament the fact that they are low on truck drivers, this runs counterintuitive to the fact “that there are many times more commercial driver’s licenses (CDLs) issued than there are jobs in the industry.” With unemployment levels below 4%, it appears that many truck drivers are leaving the industry to find one with a “safe, steady job that will enable them to provide a reasonably comfortable life for themselves and their families.” Read more…
