SMALL DECLINE IN TRUCK TRANSPORTATION JOBS FOR JUNE
There isn’t much to write home about in regards to Truck transportation jobs in June, with the Bureau of Labor Statistics reporting jobs dropping by the smallest of increments: “Changes up or down are reported by the BLS in increments of 100 (unless they’re zero), and that is the change reported by the BLS for June: a decline of 100 jobs to 1,548,600 jobs.” Read more…

Resilience of supply chains will be tested as US imports are on course for volumes at a height not seen over the past two years. Even without work stoppages and multitudinous disruptions, logistics providers are preparing themselves for the worst. Causing backlash from social media users, a video of President Joe Biden discussing trucking jobs in an interview with the Des Moines Registry from 2019 has resurfaced online. In the video, Biden is heard saying: “Guess what?
